Teach Peace Foundation Vision A world at peace, made possible by freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom from want, and freedom from fear.
Mission To advance initiatives to transform the peace movement from a movement of pieces into a cohesive force for non-violent change through education, technology, and advocacy. Guiding Principles The Teach Peace Foundation is a source of hope and inspiration that a more peaceful world is possible in which:
- Free speech is available to everyone.
- Natural resources are used sustainably. What We Are Not - Afraid. - Seeking to dominate others as a means for improving security. - Partisan. - Anti-democrat. - Anti-spiritual. - Anti-anyone (e.g., anti-American, anti-Arab, etc.). - An organization that values life outside our country differently than life inside our country. - Unilateralist (e.g., we support the UN and the International Criminal Court). - Supportive of burdening future generations (e.g., nuclear waste or programs that pass on financial burdens to young people). - An organization of people that need to agree on everything in order to agree that we need to be free from endless wars (the Bush administration term for endless war is "long war"). |
